I am a trained teacher and writer. I have run my own business with farmers for many years, and in 2000 completed the Trinity Certificate in ESOL. Since then I have taught at different language schools in Christchurch, and more recently have taught English to live-in students from Europe and Asia in the home. Warm greetings to students wishing to improve their English. I taught in the Elementary School in NZ for 15 years and then I taught in Language Schools in Christchurch City. I found teaching one to one more rewarding for the student and teacher, so began doing this with students who lived in our home for one or two weeks. Most students came from Japan and quite a few from Switzerland and Germany. I enjoy travelling, cycling, swimming, reading, cooking and visiting our grandchildren. My goal would be to see you grow in your use of English, whatever your level.
